Coron, Palawan Adventure….

Maganda dito! (This place is beautiful!) Astig ng mga beach and lagoons! (Lagoons and beaches are so awesome!)

Here are the details of our Coron, Palawan tour….

This will depend on season/months and airline. We went to Coron during the month of January and we chose Cebu Pacific for our airline, san ka pa? dito mura! piso fare! hehehe! (Best option for cheap air fare). We got our tickets for around 6k per head 2 way. Travel time is just 1 hour from NAIA 3 to Coron (Busuanga).

Well that is 1 hour from NAIA to Coron. Another 45-60 mins land ride going to your hotel.

We stayed in Mt. Tapyas Hotel for 4D/3N. You can check my review for this hotel on Tripadvisor. Just a quick tip, best to be back at the hotel before sundown to get that beautiful sunset view.  I always go to Agoda for my hotel reservations by the way.

A LOT TO VISIT!!!! First, you need a bangkero (boatman) who will take you to those places that you want to visit. I can give you contact details of our boatman, just simply drop a message here. From the dock, you can choose beaches, diving area, or lagoons to visit. Best to check with your boatman which are close to each other so you can maximize time. Top on the list to visit are, Kayangan lake, Barracude lake, Malcapuya Island, and Twin Lagoon.

Our boatman offered land transportation as well (tricycle). You definitely need one…. Why?
– If you want to have dinner to one of islands’ famous restos. Driver will take you there, wait for you, then drive you back to your hotel.
– For sure you want to buy souvenirs, your driver can take you to several shops. From shirts, sweets, keychain, and magnets.
– You have to buy fresh seafood, meat, veggies, and fruits from the market and bring it to your boat. YES! Your boatman is also your cook! Awesome right? 😉
– It’s more of a taxi service. You can ask your driver anywhere you want within the island (no time limit). Also, it’s one way of helping them with their daily expenses. We were group of 5 people and 25 pesos each is not bad at all…

– Get a private boat if you are at least a group of 4 people. If you are a couple, drag another couple and ask to share in a private boat. You can also join those huge boats with different group of people if you are on a budget. You can definitely save extra money with that. Me and my friends just prefer telling our boatman when to leave, stay longer on this lagoon/beach, when to eat, where to go, and stop to get that beautiful sunset shot… 😉 Private boat will range 2k – 3k depending on where you want to go.
– Please hold your excitement and do not just step on that sand or jump in to that clear water. Ask your boatman first if that island, lagoon, or beach has an actual fee. Most of those islands and lagoons do have a 100 pesos fee per head.
– Don’t forget to watch my video compilation here. Enjoy watching!
